This will give you a better overview of the impression applicant’s make and how they present themselves to people. Existing team members can pick up on different strengths or weaknesses and what works for your specific needs. This can help you in making your final decision as to what is best for your business and your team.
Interview at various times and ways. Phone interviews are a good beginning. Meet away from the office and use various mediums such as video chat and face-time. Catch them off guard and see how they respond. Get a feel for this person in different spaces and situations.
Millennials are big on hiring friends. Friends have the capability of developing a great partnership, if, they share your goals. Just make sure you are both wanting the same direction for the business.
